2018.01.13 Lietuvoje lankėsi Japonijos premjeras Shinzo Abe su žmona Akie Abe. Šeštadienio popietę Japonijos premjero žmona Akie Abe, lydima Japonijos ambasadoriaus Lietuvoje žmonos Michiko Shigeeda, susitiko su VU rektoriumi Prof.A.Žilinsku ir Orientalistikos centro studentais. Pademonstruoti kendo ir pristatyti VU Kendo Klubą aukštiems svečiams buvo pakviesti Akvilė Zabiliūtė – Karaliūnė ir klubo vadovas Vytenis Almonaitis.

On Saturday afternoon, Japanese Prime Minister’s wife Akie Abe accompanied by the wife of Japan’s Ambassador in Lithuania Michiko Shigeeda has meeting with Rector of Vilnius University Prof. Artūras Žilinskas and students from the Orientalist Center. Akvilė Zabiliūtė-Karaliūnė and the leader of the kendo club Vytenis Almonaitis were invited to demonstrate kendo and present the VU Kendo Club to the high guests.
